Whimsical Winter Pop-Up Wedding at The Lincoln Loft & Studio
Nancy and Ken decided they wanted to get married in December, so we turned The Lincoln Loft into a whimsical winter wonderland for their pop-up wedding. Allow us to walk you through their day, starting with the beautiful photos Emilee May took of the couple in Public Square. After feeling the frigid December air, it was a relief to enter the loft with all of its winter elements and none of the cold. See all of the pretty little details that made up the newlywed's indoor ceremony and reception and prepare for a glowing sendoff.
Pictures in Public Square
Despite the winter weather, Nancy and Ken took a stroll through Public Square. The chill in the air was all the more reason for the couple to cozy up together for their pictures.
Ceremony Details
For the couple's ceremony, we used our White Mantle and all six of our White Pedestal Risers to create an eye-catching arbor that AMK Floral decorated with the most stunning blooms. We added our Gold Mercury Glass Votives to bring some added coziness to the atmosphere.
Ceremony
Nancy and Ken's flower girl (isn't she the cutest?!) was the first to walk down the aisle. Nancy and her father followed soon after and they shared a hug before Nancy joined Ken at the altar. Hand-in-hand, the couple said their vows and then "I Do" before sharing a kiss.
Reception
When guests walked over to Nancy and Ken's reception, the first thing that caught their eye was our built-in shelf we decorated with florals and Christmas trees of different shapes and sizes. We also added our Gold Sleek Lanterns, various votive holders, and our Matte Gold Tealights. Our finishing touch to the shelf was gold mirrored signage thanking everyone in attendance for celebrating with us.
We also set up a bar so we could serve the newlywed's friends and family while they took some photos in the square and soaked in their first married moments together.
Right next to the bar was a toasting station we put together using our three White Slatted Pillars, lots of champagne glasses, and more fun signage. We also added a tall Christmas tree and some winter foliage in our Gold Metal Bud Vases.
To the right of the toasting station was a dining area we put together using our Classic Farmhouse Tables and our Vintage Bentwood Chairs. We decorated each table with pretty florals in our Gold Metal Bud Vases and candles we placed in our Gold Sleek Lanterns and Matte Gold Tealight Holders.
Lounge 1
We put together not one, not two, but THREE lounges for Nancy and Ken. We set up the first lounge in front of one of the loft's airy windows and used four tall Christmas trees to create a festive backdrop. For seating, we chose our Willow Sofa, Ivy Chairs, and our Sadie Chairs. We placed our Gold and Glass Rectangular Coffee Table in the middle of the set-up and our Gold and Glass Square End Table next to the Sadie Chairs. The set-up sat atop one of our artisan rugs.
Lounge 2
Our second lounge also featured four festive trees, all carefully decorated with gold ornaments to match our Gold and Glass Coffee Table's rectangular counterpart. For seating, we used our Cocoa Sofa, Penelope Chair, and our Hugo Chair. We topped our coffee table, our Simple Skinny Gold & Glass Mirrored End Table, and our Striped Gold and Glass End Table with our Gold Sleek Lanterns, Matte Gold Tealights, and more pretty blooms.
Lounge 3
Our third and final lounge had the most Christmas trees and was a larger seating option. Not only did it include our Ginger Sofa and Chairs, but also our Estelle Settee. We placed our Nesting Mirrored Gold Coffee Table front and center and topped it with our Gold Sleek Lanterns, Matte Gold Tea Lights, and our Gold Metal Bud Vases that were sporting more florals.
Dessert Display
Our dessert display was tucked behind some of our larger, snow-covered Christmas trees. Our Wood & Metal Industrial Table held Nancy and Ken's wedding cake as well as an array of cupcakes made by The Love Bean.
Cake Cutting
Nancy and Ken shared a slice of cake, and another kiss.
Dancing
The newlyweds shared a tender moment before their flower girl joined them and the trio spun around the dance floor.
Sendoff
The smiles on Nancy and Ken's faces shined just as brightly as the sparklers their friends and family set off for them as they were sent off.
