Bohemian Woodland Wedding in Skaneateles, New York

Jessi and Anthony chose Aster Weddings as their wedding venue. Their ceremony was held at Aster's ceremony area nestled in the Skaneateles woods, which provided custom made seating for their friends and family. After tying the knot under the August sun, the newlyweds had dinner, danced, and enjoyed dessert on the ground's herringbone deck shaded by a sail cloth marquee. First Look

Ceremony

Jessi's nephew was the first to walk down the aisle to prepare everyone for his aunt's arrival. Jessi followed shortly after, escorted by her father. Once she reached her husband to be, they exchanged their vows.

After their vows and rings were exchanged, the couple's wine ceremony took place. Jessi and Anthony poured their respective wines into one glass and then each of them took a drink to symbolize their matrimony.

Reception

Jessi and Anthony's reception was held in the middle of Aster's manicured landscape. Tables and chairs were provided for the couple's guests under the marquee. We placed our Fringe Charger Plates on every table to give each place setting a bohemian-style accent, as well as our Heptagon Acrylic Table Numbers so each guest could easily find their seat.

Sweetheart Table

The newlyweds chose our Sweetheart Table Package, and our Peacock Chairs were the perfect seating choice. We placed our Brass Candlesticks on our Wood and Metal Industrial Table so they could enjoy a candle lit dinner together. We added our Boho Lanterns and the prettiest florals as the final accents to this set-up.

Desserts

Jessi and Anthony had quite the dessert selection, so we brought out our Boho Bar to display every option.

Favors

The couple's favors were thoughtful and very on-theme. We used our Boho Shelves to display potted succulents and candles for guests to take home.

Lawn Games

Jessi and Anthony really thought of it all. They included a play area that consisted of a giant game of Jenga, larger-than-life LEGOS, and lots of other toys to keep the little ones entertained.

First Dance

After a grand entrance, Jessi and Anthony shared a slow dance together. After letting them have their moment, their dog Crimson joined them on the dance floor followed by their friends and family.
